About the Boston Pizza Players Tournament

We are proud to announce the return of the annual Boston Pizza Players Tournament this Outdoor Season!

The Boston Pizza Players Tournament is one of the leading outdoor soccer tournaments that Western Canada has to offer as it continues to grow over the years! The 2019 tournament hosted 168 teams at John Blumberg Sportsplex over the 5-day duration. We look forward to the return of soccer events once again this summer.

The Boston Pizza Players Tournament is more than just an opportunity for teams to register and compete. It also raises funds for the WYSA Player Subsidy Fund, established by the WYSA Board of Directors in 2015. The Player Subsidy Fund is used to help families who are in need of assistance to help with the costs of playing the beautiful game. Throughout the first 5 years of the tournament, WYSA is proud to say that the Boston Pizza Players Tournament has raised $50,000 for the Player Subsidy Fund! 

Each team that participates and has participated over the years is apart of that success, and we thank everyone who chooses to come out and play. We look forward to another exciting Boston Pizza Players Tournament in 2022!
